About Solar Control Polycarbonate Sheet
Solar Control Polycarbonate Sheets are designed to block up to 25% of infrared (IR) heat while allowing up to 89% of visible light to pass through, creating an optimal balance between heat control and natural light. 1 Heat is managed by proprietary plastic additives integrated directly into the material, instead of expensive and fragile coatings, making the solar control feature permanent and not subject to degradation over time.
These sheets are UV protected on both sides with the ability to block 99.9% of ultraviolet (UV) rays in the wavelength range of 200nm to 400nm, helping to minimize errors during installation and extending the lifespan of the sheets up to 10-15 years in harsh weather conditions. The product meets ASTM D635 standards for fire resistance and load-bearing capacity.
